Did you know that your audience can view and interact with a Google calendar from your genially?

This feature is especially useful if you want to tell people about a series of events that could be modified. If you want to edit an event, all you need to do is edit it in your Google calendar, and your audience will automatically have the updated information in the genially.

This article covers the following aspects:

* How to get the code of a Google calendar
* Embed a Google Calendar into the canvas
* Embed a Google Calendar into a window

## **How to get the code of a Google calendar**

1\. Open [Google Calendar](https://calendar.google.com/) on a computer. You can only get the code to insert a calendar in a website from a computer, not from the Google Calendar application.

_**TIP**_****_:_**** _only the people you've shared your calendar with will be able to see the calendar you've embedded. If you want all of your visitors to see your calendar, you'll need to_ [_make it public_](https://support.google.com/calendar/answer/37083)_._

2\. On the left side of the screen, hover over the name of the calendar you want to insert and click on the 3 dots that appear.

3\. Select the option **"Settings and sharing".**

4\. From the dropdown configuration list below the calendar, select the option **"Integrate calendar".**

5\. There you can obtain the embed code of the calendar. If you wish, you can also click on **"Customize"** to modify the appearance of the calendar and then get the newly generated code.

## Embed a Google Calendar into the canvas

1\. Open the Editor of your genially and click on the **Insert** section.

2\. Select the **Others** tab and **paste** the Google Calendar code in the box below Insert external content.

3\. Click on **Insert**. The calendar will appear on your canvas and you can scale it if needed.

## Embed a Google Calendar into a window

You can also display your calendar in a window.  This is an element that opens when your audience clicks on an interactive element. To do this:

1\. Select the **element** you want to make interactive and click on the **interactivity** icon that appears above it.

2\. Choose the **Window** option and select the template you want to use.

3\. In the left sidebar of the Editor, click on **Insert** and select the **Other** tab.

4\. Paste the calendar code and click **Insert**.

**TIP:** You can preview the window before publishing it by clicking on the Preview button on the top right of the Editor.
