[Typeform](https://www.typeform.com/) is a web-based platform you can use to create anything from surveys to apps, without needing to write a single line of code. This tutorial explains:

*   How to embed a Typeform form into your canvas
*   How to embed a Typeform form in an interactive element

  

## **How to embed a Typeform form into your canvas**

To embed the Typeform directly into the canvas of your genially: 

1\. Go to the Editor of the genially you want it in, and open the **Insert** section located in the left sidebar. Then click on the **Others** tab.

2\. Go to Typeform and find the survey or form you want to insert into Genially. [Copy the link or code of the form](https://www.typeform.com/help/a/embed-your-typeform-360029249212/).

3\. Now go back to the Genially Editor. Paste the link or code of the form and click on **Insert**.

4\. Lastly, adapt the size of the Typeform to improve the visual experience.

## **How to embed the Typeform form in **an interactive** **element****

You can also embed a Typeform into a pop-up window in order to view it when you click on an interactive element in the canvas. 

1.  Select the element and click on the interactivity icon that appears above it.
    
2.  In the window that appears, click on Link and enter the URL of the website you want to take your audience to.
    
3.  Then you can decide if you want the destination page to open in a new tab or in the same tab.
    
4.  If you choose ‘Open replacing genially (same tab)’, your audience will exit your genially and be taken to the place you have linked. Only choose this option if you want them to leave your genially; on the last page, for example.
    

Add a text with information about the external website that the link directs to. This information will be read by the screen readers.
