## What are guests in Genially?

Guests are external people who can collaborate on one or more of your creations.

**They don’t take up any seats on your team**, and they can only access the creations they’ve been invited to.

Their permissions within the team are very limited, which makes this kind of collaboration ideal for **one‑off or occasional tasks.**

If you need to invite the same person to collaborate on many creations, it’s best to add them as a team member to streamline your workflows.

  

## What types of guests exist in Genially?

There are two types of guests in Genially, depending on the plan they use:

*   **Premium guests:** people who use any of Genially’s premium plans.

You can add as many premium guests as you want to your collaborations—there are no limits.

*   **Free guests:** people who use Genially’s free plans.

You can add each free guest to a limited number of creations, depending on your team’s plan.

  

## How many creations can I add each type of guest to?

The answer depends on your team’s plan:

*   You can add as many premium guests as you want—there’s no limit.
*   You can add free guests to a specific number of creations within your team.

1.  If your plan is **Free, Pro, Edu Pro, or Expert**, you can add each free guest to up to 5 creations in your team.
2.  If your plan is **Genius, Master, Author, Edu 360, Enterprise, or Campus**, you can add each free guest to up to 10 creations in your team.
