You can now include interactive questions to get detailed insights into how your audience interacts with your creations and track their responses. In this guide, we’ll show you everything you need to know to use questions with multiple correct answers.

## **Add Interactive Questions**

You can add interactive questions to your creations by following these simple steps:

1.  Choose the page where you want to add the question.
    
2.  Click **Interactive Questions** from the left-hand sidebar of the editor.
    
3.  Select the **Multiple Choice** option.
    
4.  The interactive question will appear on the canvas, and the **settings panel will open on the right**.

## **Customize Interactive Questions**

1.  Edit the question text and answer options in the **Content** tab within the **settings panel** (max. 999 characters).
    
2.  Add your text in the **Question** section. If not edited, default text will appear.
    
3.  In **Answers**, enter your options and select the correct ones by clicking the area on the right side of each. Correct options will appear highlighted in green with a checkmark.
    
    *   **Note:** If no answer text is entered, default text will appear. You can include **up to 6 options**.
        
    *   To **delete an option**, hover over its image and click the trash icon. Note: You must include **at least 2 options**.
        
4.  The **Random order** option is enabled by default but can be disabled to keep your set order.
    

From the  **Actions tab**  you can set what will happen when answers are submitted:

1.  **
    
    1.  **After answering:**  Select this option so that an interaction appears when the audience answers a question
    2.  **Based on the result:** Select this option so that an interaction appears when the audience gets a question right and/or wrong.
    
    **

To add the interaction in either case, just click the hand icon that appears when you select After answering or Based on the result.

**Note:**  Some interactions aren’t compatible with each other, so you’ll see some grayed out, meaning you can’t select them.

    **Message after answering:**  You can display a message to the user once they’ve submitted their answer. For quiz questions, you can include a message depending on whether the answer is correct or incorrect.

    **Timer:**  This option is perfect if you want to set a countdown and limit the time your audience has to answer the question.
    
    **
5.  Duration: In this section you can set the time you want. (Minimum response time: 1 second. Maximum response time: 99 minutes 59 seconds).
    
6.  You can optionally add a message that’s shown when the response time runs out.
    

**3\. Go to page action:**  With this action, you can set which page the audience will go to after answering the interactive question. If you configure this option, the following choices will appear on screen:

1.  **Stay on this page:** The audience stays on the same page.
    
2.  **Next page:** This is set by default. The audience goes to the next page after answering.
    
3.  **Go to another page:** You can set which page you want the audience to go to after answering.
    
4.  You can also define the time delay between when your audience clicks Submit and when the next action runs (Max. 99 seconds).
    
    1.  You’ll find this setting next to the After answering or Based on the result options.
        
5.  Open the menu by clicking the arrow and select the number of seconds you want. And that’s it!

**IMPORTANT:** When you edit an interactive question, the activity report will show only the latest version, overwriting previous versions.

  

## **Delete Interactive Questions**

To delete a question, click its area and then the **Trash** button in the editor toolbar, or press the Delete key.

**IMPORTANT:** Deleting a question may affect results in the individual activity report.

## **Collect Responses to Interactive Questions**

To collect, view, and download responses, activate the **Individual Activity** feature:

From the **dashboard**:

2.  Log in to your Genially account.
    
3.  Click **Activity** from the left sidebar.
    
4.  A list of your creations will appear. Enable **Individual** to view data and see audience interactions.

From the **thumbnail**:

1.  Go to the space where your Genially is saved.
    
2.  Click the three dots on the bottom right of the creation.
    
3.  Select **Activity**.
    
4.  In the **Individual** tab, toggle the switch to enable it.

From the **editor**:

1.  Click the **Activity** icon in the upper right corner.
    
2.  If your creation is unpublished, a modal will prompt you to publish it. You can skip this step and click the **Activity** tab to continue.
    
3.  Enable **Individual** to access interaction data.
    
4.  Once Individual Activity is active, you’ll be able to view responses and additional data.
