No one should be left behind! Invite your students or team members to join your Genially team and get seats for everyone.

If you have the role of **owner, admin,** or **teacher** in any **educational plan** (**Edu Pro, Expert, Genius, Edu 360, or Campus)**, you can [add as many student seats](https://help.genially.com/en_us/student-seats-in-genially-B1pyyq2IC) as you want for free. No limits at all!

And if you’re the **owner or admin** of a group plan (**Genius, Edu 360, Campus, Master, Author, or Enterprise)**, you can buy or reduce the number of seats anytime to fit your needs.

## Check the Number of Occupied Seats in Your Team

Check your team’s seat count in the team settings – it’s super easy!

1.  Click the team icon in the top‑left corner of the screen.
2.  Select Settings > Plan. On the right side of the screen, you’ll see the total, available, and occupied seats.

## How to Buy Seats

To buy seats, you need to be an owner or admin of the team and use a group plan. Just follow these steps:

1.  Click the team icon in the top‑left corner of the screen.
2.  Select Settings > Plan.
3.  Click the Add more seats button on the right side of the screen.

5\. Review your purchase details. By default, the payment method linked to your team will appear, but you can change it before confirming the purchase.

6\. All set? Click Buy seats on the right.

  

## How to Reduce Seats

Keep in mind that you can only reduce seats that are free. Here’s how:

1.  Click the **team icon** in the top‑left corner of the screen.
2.  Select **Settings** > **Plan**. On the left side of the screen, you’ll see the **Reduce seats button.**
3.  Enter the **number of seats** you want to reduce and click **Reduce**. Once confirmed, you’ll see a confirmation message.

**IMPORTANT:** Seat reductions take effect on the last day of the billing cycle. Until then, the seats will remain available in case you want to use them again. If the seats are occupied on the day the billing cycle ends, they won’t be removed and will be billed in the next cycle.
