If you are reading this tutorial, hopefully you have already added at least one interaction to an element of your creation. Not done yet? You will get the hang of it in no time.  Follow these simple steps:

1. Choose any element on the canvas to trigger an action. A button, an image, a text block, a group of elements or even an invisible area.

2. What do you want to happen when you click or hover the mouse over the element? For example, open a pop-up window, a video, fireworks, a celebratory sound or a combination of the above.

3. Preview how the interaction with that element will be when sharing or presenting.

You can repeat this process to add several actions to the same element.

1. Click on the hand icon to Edit interactivity.

2. In the right sidebar, click Add another action.

3. Choose the action you want to add. Depending on the first action you have added, you will see enabled actions that you can combine with the one already added.

All actions you add to an element will be triggered at the same time. Let's look at the possible combinations:

<span class="fr-mk" style="display: none;">&nbsp;</span><span class="fr-mk" style="display: none;">&nbsp;</span><span class="fr-mk" style="display: none;">&nbsp;</span><span class="fr-mk" style="display: none;">&nbsp;</span>

## Try different combinations of actions that can be triggered together. There are many possibilities, let's see some examples.

<span class="fr-mk" style="display: none;">&nbsp;</span><span class="fr-mk" style="display: none;">&nbsp;</span><span class="fr-mk" style="display: none;">&nbsp;</span>

What actions are combined?

On the first page of this creation, we combined Go to page with a confetti effect. On the page where we can explore to know more about each person in the team, find a button with the combination of tag and window, so we know the name of each person in a tag and extra information of their biography in a window.

<span class="fr-mk" style="display: none;">&nbsp;</span><span class="fr-mk" style="display: none;">&nbsp;</span><span class="fr-mk" style="display: none;">&nbsp;</span>

What actions are combined?

On the cover of this creation we combined Go to page with a bubble effect. On the next page, where we find the information about the course, we can explore the buttons that combine show and audio, so we can discover more details about the course. Combining these two actions makes the exploration experience more immersive.

<span class="fr-mk" style="display: none;">&nbsp;</span><span class="fr-mk" style="display: none;">&nbsp;</span>

What actions are combined?

This activity is another example of how to combine display and audio to facilitate understanding of whether the marked answer is correct or incorrect. By clicking on each city, a line is displayed under the name in the case of a correct answer, or crossing out the name of the city in the case of an incorrect answer. The combination with audio helps to emphasize the hit or miss. In the timer, we have combined audio with a clapping effect.  The audio alerts you that the time to respond is over, while the applause celebrates the end of the activity.

These interactions can also be triggered by keyboard. See more details about [accessibility](https://help.genially.com/en_us/genially-and-accessibility-SJu3jPr3i).

If you are curious or need data, you can observe the total number of clicks that each element or interactive area receives.

Ready! Now you know how to combine interactions to your liking to create experiences that increase engagement and activate the senses.
