Export your Canva designs to Genially or add Genially content to Canva using the [Genially for Canva plugin](https://www.canva.com/your-apps/AAGePA-BFKs/genially?q=genially). This integration works as an add-on inside Canva, letting you move seamlessly between both platforms and turn any design into an interactive experience.

  

To set it up, you’ll need:

*   A Canva account (free or paid)
*   A Genially account (free or paid)

  

  

## Install the app

1.  Download [Genially for Canva](https://www.canva.com/your-apps/AAGePA-BFKs/genially?q=genially) from the Canva app marketplace.
2.  Follow the instructions to connect your Genially account. The app will then appear in the **Apps** menu inside Canva.

  

## How to export a Canva design to Genially

1.  In the Canva editor, open the Genially app.
2.  Go to the **Export tab** and click **Export to Genially.**
3.  By default, the file type will be **PPTX**.
4.  Choose the Genially workspace you want to export the design to. If you have more than one, you’ll see a list to select from.
5.  Click **Export design**.
6.  The design will appear in your Genially workspace. Don’t see it? Check your inbox—you’ll receive a confirmation email with a direct link to the design.
7.  Your creation is now ready to be edited in Genially.

  

## How to embed a Genially in Canva

In Genially, you can quickly access your creations from the Content section.

1.  Hover over the thumbnail of the creation you want to embed in Canva and click **Share**. If it’s in draft mode, select **Anyone with the link**.
2.  In the **Link** tab, click **Copy**.

If you’re editing your creation:

1.  Click the **Share** button in the top-right corner.
2.  Select **Anyone with the link** and click **Copy**. The link will look something like this: [https://view.genially.com/64d278](https://view.genially.com/64d278)….

Now go back to the Canva editor, open the Genially app, and **paste the link** in the **Embed** tab. When you click **Embed Genially,** your creation will appear on the Canva canvas. Once you publish and share your Canva design online (for example, as a Canva website or via a public link), users will be able to click and explore all the interactive elements in the Genially.
