Get an extra deliverable from your Genially with the AI summary feature. You can download a **text or audio summary (podcast-style)** of your creation's content. This makes it easy to share as accessible supporting material, save as a record of content, or reuse in other resources.
## **How it works**
1. You can summarize your Genially from 3 different places:
1. **Share** - Download - Summary
2. **Genially options** - Download - Summary
3. **Genially AI**, alongside the rest of the AI features (the AI icon in the bottom menu)
2. Select the **type of summary** you want:
1. **Text**: You'll get a PDF summary based on the key points of your Genially. It includes a title, body text, and logo.
2. **Audio**: The result is a podcast-style MP3 featuring one speaker asking questions and another acting as an expert.
3. **Choose the language** in which you want to generate the summary. It can be different from the original content language.
4. Select the **length or duration** of the summary.
5. If you've chosen the audio format, **select the 2 voices** that will participate.
6. Before downloading the summary, you'll be able to **preview and edit the content** as needed (text, voices, accent). For audio summaries, if you want to extend the conversation, always use “Voice 1:” or “Voice 2:” to indicate a change of speaker.
7. Click **Generate**. If it's a text summary, the PDF will download immediately. If it's an audio summary, we'll notify you by email when it's ready. You'll have 7 days to download it.
## **Recommendations**
Before summarizing your Genially:
* **Consider whether your creation is suitable for a summary.** In general, this feature is designed for _presentations, courses, reports, manuals, infographics, business proposals..._ rather than quizzes, gamified experiences, or games.
* **Include alt text or textual information** in graphic resources, images, videos, links, and other third-party content. AI can only access textual information.
* **Make sure your Genially contains enough text.** Don't worry about content inside windows, labels, or hidden layers—the AI analyzes every bit of text in your Genially. However, if it mainly contains images and very little text, the result may be limited.
