If you want to save time and guarantee brand consistency, create or use **team templates** that are exclusive for all members of your workspace. These are templates tailored by the team to the organization's needs and brand identity.

Want to know how to create and manage team templates? In this tutorial, we'll explain:

* How to **convert** to a team template.

* How to **edit** a team template.

* How to **remove** a team template.

## **How to convert to a team template**

To create a team template, you can:

*   Use your own creation

* Start from a blank creation

*   Use a [template available in Genially](https://help.genially.com/en_us/selecting-a-template-in-genially-S1P4qPrns)

* Start from a [template with your brand](https://help.genially.com/en_us/brand-templates-in-genially-rkbkD_0_C)

After editing and tailoring it to your team needs (applying the brand, setting out a structure, adding basic details, etc.), the Owner, Administrator or Teacher roles must convert it into a team template.

1. Find the Genially you want to convert into a template.

2. Click on the 3 dots of options of the Genially.

3. Select the option **Convert to team template**.

4. You can also do this from Brand kit - Team templates and then clicking on Convert to team template.

The Genially will now be available to all team members from **Team templates - Explore templates.**

## **How to edit a team template**

Team templates are managed from **Brand kit.** Owners, Administrators and Teachers can edit them from there to keep them updated whenever they need to.

Simply:

1. Click on the template you want to edit and then select '**Edit team template'**.

2. Make the necessary changes in the editor.

3. Publish your changes using the Publish button in the top menu.

Once published, your whole team will be able to use the template with the latest updates.

**NOTE:** People with an **Editor** role can only edit the template from where it is saved.

## **How to remove a team template**

If you no longer want the Genially to be used as a team template, members with an Owner, Administrator or Teacher role can remove it.

Follow these steps to do so:

1. Go to the **Team templates** section of the Brand kit.

2. Click on the 3 dots of options of the Genially.

3. Select **Remove as team template**.

This Genially will remain in its corresponding space, but will no longer be displayed to the rest of the team in Templates.
