Having a defined color palette lets you change your Genially’s colors all at once, anytime you want.

In this tutorial we show you:

*   What creation colors are
* How to create your palette
* How to use creation colors

## What creation colors are?

This is the main palette you can set for your creation. It allows you to choose up to three colors (primary, secondary, and tertiary) and quickly apply them to text boxes, assets, interactive elements, and your creation’s background.

The main advantage of using the creation palette is that, as you use it, **you can change the colors and they will be modified throughout the creation.** That is, if at the beginning you use a Black-Purple-Blue color palette and then modify it to Green-Pink-White, all the elements of those colors will change to the new ones (blacks to green, purples to pink and blues to white). This allows you to try different color palettes and choose the best one for your creation quickly and easily.

## How to create the palette?

It’s super easy! From the **Styles** section of the left menu. In the Colors section you can:

* Edit or define the 3 main colors of your creation

* Choose one of the already configured palettes

* Choose your brand palette (Premium option)

## How to use creation colors?

Once you have defined the 3 colors of the palette of your creation, you can start applying them on the elements to customize your design. In the color menu of the top editing bar (appears when you select an element), you will always have the palette saved for quick selection.

Every time you change the colors of the palette, all elements with those colors will change to the new ones.
