If you have an Enterprise or Campus plan, you can create a **branded URL** for all your creations. With the custom URL option, you can **edit the subdomain** that appears when you present and share your Geniallys. The link to your creations will change from [**view.genially.com/GeniallyID**](http://view.genially.com/IDdelgenially) to, for example, [_**academy.genially.com/GeniallyID**_](http://academy.genially.com/IDdelgenially) — using your brand name or a related name.

This way, your links will appear more trustworthy, be easier to find online, and help strengthen your brand’s visibility.

Only users with an **Owner role** can customize the URL. Here’s how to do it:

1. Go to the “Settings” section and click the “Team” tab. In your team preferences, you’ll find the **Custom URL** option. You can also configure it from your **Brand Kit**.

2. Choose a name that’s **aligned with your brand** and for which you **own the rights.** Keep these guidelines in mind when creating it:

    1. It can contain up to 63 characters.

    2. Dashes (-) are allowed — but only between words.

    3. Periods (.) are not allowed.

    4. Numbers are allowed.

    5. Only lowercase letters from a to z are allowed.

    6. Words that are offensive, discriminatory, violent, or misleading — or that could confuse users about the page’s identity — are not allowed.

3. Your subdomain must be **validated by the Genially team.** You’ll receive a response within 48 business hours by email and notification. If your subdomain is approved, your creations will work with both your brand’s subdomain and Genially’s. If it’s not approved, you can choose another name.

If you want to **edit or delete your subdomain**, you can do so from the Team section in Settings or from your Brand Kit. Keep in mind that **for one year, your creations will automatically redirect** to Genially’s subdomain. During that time, you can replace your subdomain with _view.genially.com_ in your shared or embedded links before they stop working.
