Did you know you can turn your Genially creation into an interactive PDF?

The best way to enjoy your Genially is online, through its link and with all the power of interactivity and animation. Still, there may be times when you prefer to download your creation. Downloading is a premium feature that lets you get your content in five formats: [**JPG**](https://help.genially.com/download-a-genially-as-images-Sy5I9vS2i), PDF, [**MP4**](https://help.genially.com/download-a-genially-as-an-mp4-video-ryNqAUcAj), [**Offline viewing**](https://help.genially.com/download-a-genially-to-view-it-offline-SJ2U5vr2s), and [**SCORM**](https://help.genially.com/download-your-geniallys-as-scorm-packages-HJDa5vH2o).

  

## Interactive PDF features

*   Included [**links**](https://help.genially.com/en_us/how-to-set-up-link-interactivity-in-genially-H1_t5PH2i) are clickable. When you open an interactive PDF in a browser, links will always open in the same tab, regardless of how they were originally set up.
*   [**Windows in your Genially**](https://help.genially.com/en_us/how-to-create-windows-in-genially-SkEpA0QUn) are downloaded as individual pages.
*   You can use the [**Go to page**](https://help.genially.com/en_us/how-to-set-up-go-to-page-interactivity-in-genially-rymYcvr3i) interactivity to navigate between pages with a single click.
*   Text inside the PDF is searchable.
*   You can select, copy, and paste text.
*   The logo enabled in the Brand Kit section won’t appear in the PDF.
*   If you’ve used the [**Hide pages**](https://help.genially.com/en_us/how-to-hide-a-page-of-your-genially-ry0b5vBhi) feature, hidden pages won’t appear in the download.
*   Animations aren’t preserved.
*   Embedded external content, such as YouTube videos, isn’t supported.

  

## Recommendations before downloading an interactive PDF

To make sure your PDF works properly, we recommend the following: If you’ve applied the **Go to page** interactivity using the **Back** shortcut, clicking it will always take you to the first page of the Genially. This might not be the behavior you expect. That’s why it’s best to select a **specific page** when adding the **Go to page** interactivity.

  

## How to download your Genially as an interactive PDF

If you’re editing your creation:

1.  Click the **Share** button in the top-right corner.
2.  Click **Download** and choose **Interactive PDF.**

You can also open the main menu (top-left corner) and select **Download – Interactive PDF.**

Before editing, you can quickly access your creations from the Content section.

1.  Hover over the thumbnail of the creation you want to insert and click the **Download** icon.
2.  Select **Interactive PDF.**
