Genially integrates seamlessly with leading Learning Management Systems (LMS) via LTI 1.3, allowing teachers and students to access interactive content easily and securely.

To enable the connection between Moodle and Genially, you’ll need a Genially account with access to the LTI 1.3 integration (available on some premium plans) and administrator permissions in your LMS. If you need help with the integration, feel free to contact our team.

## How to connect Genially to Moodle (LTI 1.3)

#### From your Genially account:

1. Click **Settings** and go to the **LMS integration** tab.
2. Click **Connect Genially to Moodle**. In the window that appears, select **Genially** **data** and copy the link shown there.

    #### Now go to your Moodle account:

3. Open **Site** **administration**.
4. Click **Plugins** and go to the **Activity modules** section.
5. Find External tool and click Manage tools.
6. Paste the link you copied earlier and click **Add LTI Advantage**.
7. You’ll see a new section with Genially listed as an LTI provider. Click **Activate** to complete the integration in Moodle.

To finish the setup, check the connection from Genially. In **Team** **settings**, go to **LMS** **integration** and review the Moodle connection.

To embed a Genially in Moodle, you need to:

1. Go to **Site administration** and open the **Security** category.

Before editing, you can quickly access your creations from the **Content** section.

Finally, go to Moodle and open the course or post where you want to embed your creation. In the editing area, expand the advanced options and click **HTML**. Paste the iframe code you copied earlier. Once you’re done, your creation will be visible to **anyone with the link**.

## Adding Geniallys in SCORM format to Moodle

SCORM is the go-to standard for tracking audience activity **directly from your LMS**—in this case, Moodle. Follow these steps to download any creation in SCORM format and upload it to Moodle.

If you’re editing your creation:

1. Click **Share** (top-right corner).
2. Click **Download** and choose **SCORM** **package**.

Once you’ve completed these steps, your creation will be visible to **anyone with the link**. You can also open the main menu (top-left corner) and select **Download – SCORM package**. You’ll then need to choose one of the [four preset types: access, progress, points, or interactive questions](https://help.genially.com/en_us/download-your-geniallys-as-scorm-packages-HJDa5vH2o).

3\. Download the generated ZIP file.

4\. Go to the course where you want to add the SCORM content.

5\. Click **Add an activity or resource** and select **SCORM package**.

6\. Upload the ZIP file you downloaded from Genially.

7\. Fill in the required fields such as title, description, and estimated duration, then click **Add content.**

Moodle **will automatically collect the available data** based on the SCORM preset you selected. If you make changes to your Genially, you’ll need to **export it again** and replace the package.
