All you need to do is paste your genially’s iframe or script code into the desired website. We’ll show you how—it’s easier than you think!

## Which code to use: differences between iframe and script

There are a few differences between using an iframe or a script to embed your genially on a website. The main one is that an iframe creates a window to another piece of content (like a video), while a script runs instructions directly on the main page. If you use the iframe code, the tags and interactive windows will always be displayed within your genially’s frame.

## How to get the code to embed your genially

If you’re editing your creation:

1.  Click the **Share** button in the top-right corner and select **View all.**
2.  Choose **iframe** (recommended) or script and copy the code.

Before editing, you can quickly access your creations from the **Content** section.

1.  Hover over the thumbnail of the creation you want to embed on a website or platform and click the **Share** icon. If it’s a draft, select **Anyone with the link.**
2.  In the **Embed** tab, copy the iframe code.

  

Once you’ve completed these steps, your creation will be visible to **anyone with the link.**

  

## How to enable domain restriction for a creation

You might want your creations to be embeddable only on specific websites. With certain premium plans, this is possible.

While editing, click **Share,** then **View all**, and select **iframe**. Now just enable the option **Only on allowed domains.**
