## How to create content for a genially

Click on **Generate with AI:**

  

### **1\. Describe your idea**

Describe the content you need in your own words. The more specific you are, the better the result will be. Here are a few simple examples:

“Presentation about climate change for high school students”

“Welcome guide for new employees at a tech company”

You can write in **any language you want**. The AI automatically detects the language of your request and generates the content in that same language.

### 2\. Add a source

You can upload a PDF file (up to 20 MB or 100 pages), paste a long text (up to 100,000 characters), or add the link to a Genially that you've shared with anyone who has the link. AI will use it as a foundation to generate the content.

### 3\. Confirm

Confirm or adjust who your audience is, what you’ll use this creation for, and the tone you’re looking for. Decide whether you want to use your own sources as the knowledge base or prefer the AI to use its own. You can also add interactive questions.

### 4\. Choose a style

You’ll see several styles that could fit what you’re looking for. “Wait, can I only choose one of these?” For now, yes. These templates were designed to work effectively with any topic. ### 5\. Review the content outline

You’ll see an outline showing the content structure page by page. This is the perfect moment to check whether the information is organized in a way that makes sense.

If you'd like, you can edit anything you need by clicking the pencil icon. This allows you to refine the proposal by adding or removing ideas.

At this step, you can also choose whether you want **AI to generate images**. Keep in mind that this option uses additional credits.

### 6\. Generate the genially

Click on **Create genially**. The AI will build a complete genially with the content already integrated, following the style you selected.

From here, you can edit it, share it, or even create a new one. While editing, you’ll be able to change text, colors, add animations, or modify any element just like you would with any other genially.

## A few things to keep in mind

*   To make sure the design works well within the template, the **AI adapts, trims, and redistributes** the content whenever needed. If you need to keep a text exactly as it is, you can edit it directly in the editor once the genially has been generated.
