At Genially, we're always innovating. So we asked ourselves: what if artificial intelligence could help us offer new resources and activities?

The result: **components**.  Interactive compositions and elements we've created with AI, ready for you to use. You can customize and share them in just a few clicks. What used to take layers, resources, and time now only requires you to fill in the information.

  

## How to use AI components

1.  **Find the activity you're looking for**.
    1.  **In the editor**, select Components. You'll find different categories to help you locate the right component faster:
        1.  **Compositions:** designs for presenting your content
        2.  **Galleries:** different layouts for your images and multimedia resources
        3.  **Activities:** ready-made challenges for learning, practicing, and assessing. These components collect users' responses. Enable individual activity and view the results in the Activity dashboard.
        4.  **Timing and navigation:** stopwatches, menus, timers…
        5.  **Tools:** calendar, scoreboard, notes…
        6.  **Text effects:** rotating text, typing effects, text in shapes.
        7.  **Games:** different ways to boost participation, such as wheels, bingo, dice…
        8.  **Charts and data:** interactive resources for presenting your data visually

  

When you select one, a window will open where you can preview how it works. Browse the categories until you find what you need.

And if you still can't find it, **you can create a component your way with AI Builder.** You can access it directly from the Components menu or the preview window.

2\. Customize the appearance. AI components are designed to be editable. You can change the text, colors, or styles to adapt them to your creation, with no technical complications.

3.  **Adjust the behavior.** These components include all the interactive power you already know from Genially: trigger effects on click, play audio, open a window and more. Customize the interactive features to fit your needs.
    

4.  **Edit with AI.** Want to adapt content to a specific topic? Make bulk changes? Translate it? We offer suggestions to get started—change the topic, adjust colors, translate—but you can ask for anything you need.
    

  

## Limitations to keep in mind

While AI opens up many possibilities, there are still some aspects to consider:

*   **Quality:** These components don’t follow the same creation, testing, and validation process as others. Performance may vary.
    
*   **Accessibility:** They may not be accessible for people using screen readers or keyboard navigation.
    
*   **Translation:** AI translation for these elements may fail.
    
*   **Downloads:** They may not work properly when exporting to formats like PDF, JPG, MP4 video, or offline HTML.
