Add sound effects to your creations directly from the editor. Turn your Geniallys into immersive experiences, provide audio feedback in your activities, or enhance any interaction.

## How it works

From the **Resources** menu, access the **Sound** **effects** option. There, you can explore all available sound categories:

*   Music (pop, funk, salsa…)
*   Interface (clicks, notifications)
*   Gamification (correct, incorrect, victory...)
*   Action (explosions, transitions...)
*   Narrative (doors, typing...)
*   Atmosphere (city, forest...)
*   Time (alarms, clocks...)
*   People and animals

Preview any sound and insert it into the canvas to configure it based on your needs. When you click edit, you can:

* Select the audio fragment you want to play
*   Adjust the volume

*   Use as background audio
*   Hide the player
*   Enable loop playback
*   Enable autoplay

## Ways to use sound effects

You can use sounds in different ways depending on the type of experience you want to create.

## Background audio

To play throughout the entire creation (across all pages). Insert the audio and, from Edit, enable **Use as background of the creation.**

**Example:** _add nature ambience as background in a presentation about the importance of forests._

## Page audio

To play only on a specific page. Insert the audio, enable **autoplay and hide the player.** This way, it will play when entering the page but won't be visible.

**Example:** _make a school bell ring when moving to a page that represents the start of an activity._

## Audio in interactions

When you want the sound to play only on click or hover over an element. In this case, you need to use **audio interactivity** and select sound effects.

**Example:** _add a click sound so users get audio confirmation on a website._

## Audio in questions

You can set sounds for correct, incorrect, victory, received... when answering a question or to provide feedback on the result. Go to the Actions tab within your interactive question. From there, you can configure behavior and audio.

**Example:** _play a celebration sound when the user answers correctly and an error sound when they get it wrong, to reinforce the result._

## Audio in widgets or AI components

Add a sound that will play automatically when time runs out or when an action is completed. Just add **audio interactivity** and select a sound effect in the widget or component actions.

**Example**: _set an alarm sound to play when time runs out in a challenge._
