# Insert a ‘mailto’ into a tooltip of your genially

Would you like your audience to be able to email you from your genially? It's possible! In Genially, we can insert a mail to or email into the html code in order to generate an interactive link users can use to write to you directly from your genially. 

To do so:

1\. **Copy** the following code **<a href="mailto:name@email.com">Link text</a>.**

2\. Select the element you want to link to the email and click on the interactivity icon.

3\. Click on **Tooltip** and then in the toolbar click on ‘**Code view**’.

4\. Now paste the code that you copied in step 1 and change out “[name@email.com](mailto:name@email.com)” for your email address and ‘Link text’ for the text that you want to display.

5\. **Save** your changes and **preview** the result.
