Did you know you can turn on **Paint mode** in Genially so that your audience can draw on them in view mode? Paint is a feature that can help you encourage your audience to participate and inject more fun into your creations.

  

Activate this feature by following these steps:

1.  Go to the Editor of your genially.
    
2.  Click on the top left menu and select the **Preferences** option.
    
3.  In the **Display** tab, activate the **Paint on the genially** option.
    

  

And that's it! Your audience will now be able to **paint** on the genially by clicking on the **pencil icon** that appears in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

The stroke remains on the screen, even when you switch pages. Adjust the color and thickness to suit your preferences. Here are some ideas: highlight key parts of your creation, connect different points, or add color to a section.

**IMPORTANT:** Bear in mind that the paint function is **temporary** and everything you have drawn or painted **will disappear** when you close or reload the genially.
