Are you a teacher? We’ve got great news for you: no matter which plan you have, you can add students to your workspace for free and without limits.

  

Bring your class together in a [secure space](https://genially.com/es/trust-center/) designed to boost collaborative learning and active learning methodologies. Your students can co-edit their creations in real time, making teamwork as easy as it is fun. Keep in mind that some features [are restricted for students](https://help.genially.com/en_us/limits-for-members-with-the-student-role-H1nuAPh1Gl). In addition, certain functionalities are disabled to help protect student and team safety.

If you’re on the Genius, Edu 360, or Campus plan, you can also create spaces to organize students by class, group, or project and track their progress directly within your workspace.

  

## Adding students from your workspace settings

1.  Click on the **Settings** section.
    
2.  In the **Members** tab, click the **Invite to the team** button. 
    
3.  Choose how you want to add your students. There are several options:
    

*   ### Email: 
    
    *   Enter the student's email address. If you want to add several students at the same time, enter the emails separated by commas. 
        
    *   Select the Student role in the drop-down menu just below where you’ve added the emails. 
        
    *   Finally, click Accept to send the invitations. Your students will receive them in their emails.

*   ### Upload a CSV: 
    
    *   To upload the CSV file with your students' information, drag and drop it into the box or click to browse the files on your device. Your file can contain information for up to 50 students. 
        
    *   Select the Student role in the drop-down menu just below where you’ve added the emails. 
        
    *   To finish, click on Accept. An invitation will be sent to all email addresses included in the CSV.
        

  

*   ### Link and code: 
    
    *   Copy the link or code and share it with your students. We recommend using the code, as this is the easiest way. This way your students can join your class at any time.

**NOTE:** Depending on your role or your plan, you may have the option to invite people in other roles, such as administrators or teachers. Be sure to copy the For Students link.

To join your workspace, your students must accept the invitation they receive in their email, follow the login link, or enter the code. You will be able to view the status of the invitations from the **Members** tab, in the **Pending invitations** section. 

  

## Adding students from the top menu

Click on the **Invite to the team** button at the top of the Panel. A window with the different available options will open. Choose the one you want and follow the steps in the previous section.

  

## Removing students from the workspace

Is the course over, and do you need to remove your students? It's super easy! 

**Any team member with an Owner, Administrator, or Teacher role** may remove students from the workspace. Just follow these steps:

1.  Go to Settings and click the Members tab. 
2.  Locate the name of the student you want to remove from the workspace.
3.  Click on the three-dot icon to the right of the student's name and select the Remove option. All done!

  

**Note**: If you do not see the Members tab when clicking on Settings, this means that the Team Owner has disabled the team management permissions for administrators and teachers.
