Get your genially’s social link

To share your genially, all you need is a link, which is very practical. There are two types of links; the social link and the exclusive link. In this tutorial you’ll learn everything you need to know about the social link.


The social link will bring your audience to view your genially on its social page, where as well as your creation, they’ll see a few other elements.


A social page looks like a blog post. It has the name of the person who created the genially, the date it was created, a brief description of its contents, an inspiration section that shows related templates, and the transcript of the genially.


The URL of your genially is unique and never changes. Even if you modify your genially, its web address stays the same, and the people who have the link will always see the latest version.


Choose this link if you want the Genially community to be able to use your creation as a template, by activating the Reuse feature.

Social page view


There are two ways of obtaining the link to your genially’s social page:


Get the link to the social page from the Panel


1. Click on the Share button that appears when you hover your mouse over the thumbnail of your creation. If the option does not appear, it means you need to publish your genially. 


2. In the Link tab, you’ll see the Social page option. With a simple click, you can copy the link or view your creation on its social page.



Get the link to the social page from the Editor


1. In the Editor, click on the Share button in the top right corner of the screen. If you don’t see this option, it means you need to publish your genially.
