How to get live results in Genially

Want to increase engagement and interact with your audience in real time? Use interactive questions in your creations and display their responses live with Live results.

You can configure this option with any interactive questions you include in your genially. Responses from all participants will be displayed live and can be viewed in the Activity section. 

To display live results, follow these steps:

  1. Open your creation

  2. Select any of the interactive questions you’ve added to your genially and click on the Edit button.

  3. In the menu that appears, click the gear icon (preferences button) in the top right corner.

  4. In the Live results section, you will see these options:

    1. Do not show (checked by default)

    2. Participant’s own results: only shows the participant their own individual results. This option is compatible with the options Do not repeat any question or Repeat when all questions have been answered.

    3. All participants’ results*: shows the answers of all the people who are participating and answering the questions in real time. This option is compatible with the Do not repeat any question option.

  5. Select the Participant’s own results or All participants’ results option to be able to share the responses live, and this will be applied to all the questions included in your creation.

  6. All set!


*This option is premium and you will need an Expert, Master, or Genius plan to use it.
